The Client Support Supervisor leads the Client Support Specialist (CSS) team, who provides support and assistance outside of regular office hours to clients, team members and visitors at Restoring Waters, a 60-bed residence for those who have experienced homelessness. In addition to supervising the CSS team, the Client Support Supervisor works with the Program Manager to coordinate and support community use of building space and execute administrative functions related to the Restoring Waters program. Programming provided at Restoring Waters provides stability, education and awareness, with harm reduction and Housing First practices integrated throughout the services.

This position works 40 hours per week and involves consistent overlap with positions that work weekends, evenings, and overnights. Typically, most of the time will be worked Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm; however, we are open to different configurations of a schedule that accommodate both program needs and employee work-life balance.

The peer support specialist (PSS) uses a non-clinical approach that helps recipients discover their strengths and develop their own unique recover goals. The PSS models wellness, personal responsibility, self-advocacy and hopefulness through appropriate sharing of his or her story. Programming provided at Emma Norton provides stability, education and awareness, with Harm Reduction and Housing First practices integrated throughout the services.

Emma Norton Services offers a Living Room program for walk-in mental health services for individuals in crisis. This revolutionary model is the first of its kind in Minnesota and is run solely by Peer Support Specialists. The Living Room is open 7 days a week from 12-8pm, and Peer Support Specialists are expected to work a minimum of two shifts per week while the Living Room is open. This part-time role will be around 20 hours per week, with a minimum of 16 and up to 30, depending on individual preference and supervisor agreement. One 12-8pm shift on Saturday or Sunday will be required, and other days are flexible.

The Program Assistant works with the Program Manager to ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and compliant with all applicable regulations. The Program Assistant provides instrumental logistical support to case managers in managing electronic health records and case documentation, supports direct assistance coordination/delivery, collaborates with the Scattered site team on fulfilling tenant needs, and completes special projects as assigned by the Program Manager.
