What is Network for Good?
Network for Good is a not-for-profit organization and Web site dedicated to providing real opportunities for you to donate, volunteer and get involved with issues that matter to you. Our two-fold mission is to stimulate philanthropy, volunteerism, and involvement among Internet users, and to help nonprofit organizations strengthen their relationships with supporters.
Network for Good was founded by a consortium of leaders from the Internet and nonprofit sectors; it seeks to increase consumers' engagement by making it easier to get involved in their communities, by donating, volunteering, and getting involved with issues they care about. At the same time, Network for Good helps other nonprofits to enhance their effectiveness through increased reach, educational content, and tools. (top)
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Donations made through Network for Good are 100% tax deductible because every charity in our database qualifies under the IRS rules for tax deductions. When you make a donation, be sure to save and/or print the confirmation e-mail you receive from Network for Good for your tax records. If you have any questions, however, as always, please consult a tax professional. (top)
Is the transaction secure?

How does Network for Good protect my privacy?

Network for Good will never sell, trade or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. The information that you provide is used only to complete your donation. With your permission, your name and contact information will be provided to the charity or charities you supported through Network for Good. Can I make an anonymous donation?
Yes. Network for Good will only pass on the information you provide if you authorize them to do so. (top)
Who pays for processing costs?
The processing costs (e.g. credit card fees, PayPal fees, bank fees) for completing your transaction and disbursing the funds to your selected charity is just one of the many costs Network for Good incurs as part of our mission of training and supporting nonprofits in their fundraising efforts. A 4.75% grant is made to Network for Good with each donation transaction to fund our mission. You can deduct that grant amount from your base donation amount. Alternatively, you can add a tax deductible 4.75% grant to Network for Good with each transaction so that 100% of your donation is granted to your charity. Either way, the full amount of your donation is tax deductible. Even when you do not elect to cover the grant to Network for Good, using our website still saves your favorite charity money because our administrative costs are extremely low. (top)
